Dempo Sports Club is delighted to announce the signing of Richard Cardoz. The Club and the Midfielder have agreed on a deal until the end of the current season.
Previously with Sporting Club De Goa and then Sesa FA, the Calangute local caught the eye of the Dempo Senior Management last season with his exploits in the Goa Professional League. With the versatility and work ethic to operate in any position in the middle of the park, Richard provides coach Samir Naik with plenty of options moving forward. Richard will be available to Samir Naik from the get-go, as Dempo face his past employers, SESA FA in the first round of the tournament.
Speaking on his move, he said “it is an honor to have the opportunity to play for a club with such a great history, I’m extremely delighted to get back on the field and will do my best to contribute and help my teammates.”
