Dempo Sports Club showed their supremacy over Sporting Clube de Goa in the All India Football Federation (AIFF) U-15 Junior League match played at Dempo SC academy ground, on Monday.
Necio Fernandes scored a brace while Shreyash Naik, Shivam Pandey, Atmaram Jadhav and Siaron Albuquerque also got on the score sheet for the winners.
In the one sided affair, Dempo SC took the lead in the 23rd minute when Sporting defender brought down Jimmy Colaco in the rival box. Captain Necio Fernandes stepped over and coolly converted from the spot to make it 1-0.
In the 28th minute, Dempo SC doubled the account when Vieri Colaco’s shot from distance was fumbled by Sporting goalkeeper and Shreyash Naik score from the rebound to make it 2-0. The winners led 1-0 at the break.
In the second half Necio Fernandes completed his brace before they scored three more goals in the final ten minutes of the game through Shivam, Atmarama nd Saion.
